Debbie, is Luke Macfarlane better when he's less "hairy"?

I went out with Christal last Friday (finally!) to Vivo, and we saw this phrase book for gay men at Page One called, "How to say 'Fabulous!' in 8 different languages". One phrase listed under the section for men watching was, "I feel sad for heterosexual women". I think it very appropriately describes how I feel about Luke Macfarlane. Even my dad says he's good looking.

I found out that my mom is as disgusted by public sex as she is by gay kissing when she came into my room while Bernice and I were watching Brothers & Sisters. That is just so wrong on so many levels. Public sex is like live porn, but gay kissing (if the participants are attractive) can be really hot.

So now she's hesitant about buying me the B&S Season 2 DVD. D: I'm going to persuade her by letting her watch the least "inappropriate" episode there is. I hope it works fast because school is starting very soon.
EDIT: WE JUST ORDERED IT.

I've been bugging everyone I talk to in real life about how scary I think next year will be. 7 tests in 5 days? Oh man. ): It was nice meeting up with Crystal and Yi Ling today even though the horrible reality of school starting again is looming upon us.

We went to watch Twilight after eating Carl's Junior (which I first went to on Christal's recommendation last Friday: thanks Christal!) and drinking Starbucks. It sucked as much as it did the first time, although the novelty of laughing at Rpattz's shimmering chest was kinda lost on Crystal and Yi Ling. I still find the fact that Kstew's voice is sometimes lower than Rpattz's extremely amusing though.

In between eating and watching the movie, we went to Zara, where I saw my most favourite sweatshirt in the world in yellow. Also, I got a pair of yellow Chucks. Awesome. C: Sadly Converse were being a rip-off and told me that I could only get a $10 voulcher if I spent $60... my shoes with $59.90. So I had to buy a pair of laces when I already borrowed $20 from Crystal to get my shoes. >:(

Brothers & Sisters

(As I am typing this, I am also having a conversation with Debbie online. Which would not in itself be particularly interesting, but she's in Japan right now. How cool is that? But sadly, we just found out that we can't get married, because my birthday falls on the 19th and not the 18th.)

I just watched 3 episodes in a row of B&S and I like it! Which is great because now I can actually buy the DVDs without feeling guilty that I'm only spending so much money on it because I want to see Luke Macfarlane (and he doesn't even appear all that much, at least not enough to justify $70).

Surprising, I actually think Kevin/Chad is not repulsive. I still don't like the actor who plays Chad (thank you House, for ruining my opinion of him forever), but Kevin is awesome. Like when he was trying to figure out if Chad was gay or straight, and Sarah suggested that Chad was bi, and he said, "No one's bisexual. At some point you have to make a choice. Thus the expression, 'bi now gay later'."

Also, another reason to buy the DVD is that AXN has commericals and cuts out the kissing scenes. I will not suffering this injustice of them cutting out what little Scotty there already is on the show! I hope I can get it tomorrow, when I also have to buy Christmas presents. X.X

God, if those Luke/Wentworth rumours were true, their combined gorgeousness would be astounding. I've spent the last few hours (!) watching Kevin/Scotty videos on Youtube. While I am not the biggest fan of Brothers & Sisters, I think I might want to buy the season 1 DVD just to see Luke Macfarlane in it.

Facebook sucks

I think teachers who add students on Facebook are exceedingly creepy. I also think that adding people whom you know in real life but you have never spoken to in the past year or so is lame.

I GOT THE DARK KNIGHT ON DVD. FINALLY.

I also got 808s and Heartbreak (which I adore and am listening to right now), Mika's Life In Cartoon Motion and David Archuleta's album. C: And I found a pair of dunks on 50% discount! Which is particularly awesome because I was prepared to spend $170 on this other pair I found at Gallery. C:

I love dunks and chucks but I wish I could walk around in heels all the time like Jane from Sea of Shoes. I would kill for her shoe collection. Especially for this pair of Dries in yellow:

I'm beyond envious of her shoe collection (what makes it worse is that she's only 2 years older than I am... plus she's also the same shoe size x.x), but my asthetic is quite different from her's. I love some of her outfits, the majority are meh-ish and some are just downright horrendous. Also, for example, if I were her, I'd take these Louboutins over the Ann Demeulemeester boots.

Completely ridiculous and seemingly impossible to wear, but I love them precisely because of that.

In any case, I need a complete fashion overhaul. All I ever wear is a boring t-shirt paired with boring jeans. I'm thinking ripped tights, vintage sweatshirts, Doc Martens, dresses, more skirts and (a must!) a leather jacket. I saw this one at Esprit which was acceptable looking, but it was $600 (under the pretense of being geniune leather) and felt like synthetic leather. And it's freaking Esprit. I might as well cough up a bit more money and get a real designer leather jacket.

I wish I had the knack of doing super short blog posts

Like, "You. Me. Bed. Now." but you know, more sad and emo shit.

I've recently begun to develop a(n annoying? IDK, but I'm not the most objective person for this) habit of adding "shit" to any suitable nouns. I think it started with Bernice saying, "Matt M. can do a forward somersault from the ground because he's an Olympian. I can't, because I'm noob shit." So hearing a sentence such as, "OH MAH GAWD. Tanner Cohen's dance in Were The World Mine is super coolio gay shit!" spewing from my mouth isn't all that uncommon. (Which, by the way, I have been unsuccessfully trying to copy since Wednesday.)

Speaking about Were The World Mine (which I really really really really want to see, even though I already know how it ends), I watched this interview with the director who says that both the male leads are gay (the first time I've ever succeded in correctly identifying a gay man in Tanner Cohen). But then I read this article which says that Nathaniel David Becker is straight.

WHUT. To be fair though, it really doesn't matter whether he's gay or straight because makes no difference to me either way.

What he does have is an extremely gorgeous side profile.

And beautiful arms. His voice is really nice too (not that I can differentiate his voice from Tanner Cohen's when they sing at the same pitch).

SEE HOW CUTE SHIT THIS MOVIE IS? JONATHAN IS SPARKLY. (When Bernice first saw Jonathan's sparkly chest in the WTWM trailer, she thought it was sweat. Oh, my little genius sister!)
