PURPLEHOOD SLEEPOVER

OMG SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!! Purplehooders rock! \m/

I went to Debbie's at about 3, then we started watching Heroes. Heroes is awesome! HIRO NAKAMURA IS THE MOST AWESOME CHARACTER IN HEROES!!!!!!!!!! :D Actually we spent a lot of time watching Heroes, hahaha.

We also used the com for a bit though, and I forgot how crazy the angry German kid was, haha. I think the first time I saw that was because someone linked it as "Jens Lehmann as a kid". Hahaha evil peoples!

Watching Heroes is very interesting. Jing has a major crush on Thomas Dekker, the actor who plays Zach. We must've watched Homecoming like 3 times. She also thinks that Mohindy is super cool. Yay for stupid nicknames! And Debbie and Jing think that Sendhil Ramamurthy is about the most gorgeous Indian man they've seen. I agree, haha.

I fell asleep at 11 while watching Heroes. >.< I obviously can't run on like 6 hours of sleep. Darn it. So I took coffee. Kinda stupid, in retrospect. After Heroes, we talked until 3.30 before we slept, kinda early because Debbie fell asleep much earlier and Jing had to wake up early, but I still didn't feel sleepy then.

I thought I wouldn't be able to sleep, but the next thing I know, it's 7.30 in the morning. -.- I didn't even have any recollection of falling asleep, or trying to. Weird, huh? I guess caffeine just make me think that I'm not sleepy, but I actually am. Whoooo I smrateth. :D

We had scrambled eggs and chicken pie for breakfast, yummyness. I love chicken pie! Especially the one from Delifrance. It's my new favourite. It's awesomely awesome! I also like the special pie from Polar. It's super duper uberly yummy!!!!!! Oh great now I have a craving for chicken pie.

After that we watched Heroes again, then Jing left. D: Then me and Debbos tried to find The Matrix, but it was nowhere to be found! So we decided to find other stuff to watch. We took Full Metal Jacket and The Crow. FMJ is actually kinda funny, in a twisted sort of way. I say twisted because if I were a maggot, I'd probably do a Pyle.

Okay, first off, HOW COOL OF A NAME IS DRAVEN???? I AM SO NAMING MY FIRST BORN SON THAT! :DD Anyways. The movie was really really really good. A bit gory, and I could've lived my life happily without seeing a naked butt, but it's still really good. There's a bit of everything -- romance, gore, action, drama. I though Eric's and Shelly's relationship was beautiful, in the small shots that we were showed. And how sexy is Brandon Lee's voice?

And this is Nathan the bumblebee. :D Me and Jing named him! We had this theory that Debbie was dreaming about Nathan Petrelli because she was so happy when she woke up, so we named him Nathan. :D Jing named the doggie Thomas, and I named the hamster Mathias. Notice how they're all boys, haha?

It was super duper fun and I'd do it a million times over. :) I LOVE MY PURPLEHOODERS! ♥

Sevilla v Arsenal

Sevilla 3-1 Arsenal.

You know, I'm usually more pissed at the other team and the ref or anyone else after a loss, and don't make a mistake, they did play a part in it today, but I'm more disappointed in how our boys performed.

We were terrible. Apart from the first 15 minutes or so, we were dominated by Sevilla. We didn't have any drive or determination to come back from a goal down, and the passing was horrendous. The performance was, to use the words of the commentators, "untypical Arsenal".

Senderos was horrid, and Traore was almost practically useless in terms of defending. Plus we took Hoyte off for Sagna. Actually, the only good movement in the game was the goal. The cross was darn near perfect from Bendtner [[and that boy is impressing me more and more; I know I wasn't happy with him and his inflated ego before, but now that he's showing that he just might be able to live up to that...]], and Eduardo controlled the ball perfectly to score that goal.

Sevilla's players were fucking dirty. There was this bleached blond guy who was really pissing me off because he made like 5 dirty tackles in succession on our boys and didn't get booked. Their players were also fucking divers. Navas was especially bad. I mean, making Eboue look like he actually can stay on his feet? Yeah, I think you get my point.

[[But maybe my general distaste for Navas is getting in the way of me assessing his diving skills fairly. Seriously, that guy gets on my nerves. I don't know why, he just does. I think it started with the whole "homesickness-going-to-a-psych" thing. Which is weird in itself, because I don't have anything against homesickness in general. Then today I saw him being interviewed on Eurosport news. Ergh. I don't even remember what he said, just that he was super gross.

I know someone's going to go, "OMG YOU CAN'T DISLIKE A PERSON BASED ON LOOKS." It's just one of those things, ya know? Like how I don't like bright pink. There's no real reason why, I just don't.]]

The referee was a retard. Half his decisions went Sevilla's way, one particularly bad one I remember was giving away that free kick on the left that lead to their second goal, and he seemed determined to give Sevilla a penalty. And he didn't book that ugly and dirty bleached blond. >:(

The defeat could be both good or bad for us, really. It came in a match where it didn't really matter, with the majority of our B team, but I don't know how our players are going to bounce back from it. We have 3 away games in succession in the league starting with Villa. We have to win at Villa. I don't know what will happen if we don't. But on the bright side, now we have no more shit about our unbeaten run, and it prevents us from being too complacent.

I know for sure one bad thing that came out of this match though -- Cesc has a small hamstring problem. Shit. I don't want to face Villa without both him and Hleb. I'm praying that it's a small problem. *crosses fingers*

You might've noticed that I'm back in Singapore already. Ubin sucked major ass. The place was so run down, the food was mediocre, the "pools" were full of rubbish, there were no activites because there were no instructors at the facilites, and it was just plain shit. Oh yeah, there were 2 billion mosquitoes and I'm now itching all over. I have this clump of like 5 mosquitoe bites near my ass, and it's super irritating, because it's sooo itchy but I'll look like some old perv if I start scratching it in public.

I have pictures, or rather, my sister does, but I don't feel like posting them right now. Maybe in another post.

So other than modelhommes and arsenal-mania, I've been checking out www.myspace.com/fortminor. Everyone go take a look at the blog! It's awesome. :D Mike is awesome. And the two SOB songs are really really good. I'm going to get the album when it come out. :D

Oh yeah, I came across Kevin's photoblog today. I don't understand a single thing, but the pictures of him are cute. :) He did post the lyrics to Enjoy The Silence though. Yay for good taste in music!

I've come to the conclusion that people with bad taste in music are the ones who play their music really loudly in public. I haven't heard anyone play good music before. Maybe it's the kind of circles I run in, but I don't think so.

Okay that match was really frustrating, and not just because we took FOREVER to break down Wigan.

The commentators really really bothered me. OH MY GOD. You know how they usually just talk about the statistics of the match and previous games and current form and stuff? Yeah, these two didn't. They were talking like they were the managers, like "Oh add-name-here should be taken off/switched to the other side/whatever". Not the thing I want to listen to when I'm so frustrated that I want to gouge out somebody's eyes.

But back to the match itself. Wigan defended well, actually. They were man marking, and they were well organised. It was really frustrating for us. I was hoping that we'd get that crucial goal before half-time and then have a repeat of the Reading match. But I'll take a win, whichever form it comes in, kthnx.

I think we lacked a bit of edge without Cesc. Denilson's good, but he's just not Cesc. [[He does look a bit like Cesc when the camera's panned out though, don't you think?]] I'm glad Cesc will be back for Sevilla. It was just weird to see him sitting on the bench with Flams and Aleks and not playing. :/

Gallas is beginning to look more and more like a leader. This is the second time which he has chipped in with a valuable goal. Other than that mix up he had with Kolo, I think he did well at the back. Of course, credit also has to go to Kolo for that. [[King Kolo FTW!!!! I need a shirt saying King Kolo. I'll wear it EVERYWHERE.]] I also like his never say die spirit. You only score a goal with about a minute left to go during injury time if you don't give up.

I remember when Gallas was first announced as captain and everyone was like "OMG NO FREAKING WAY GILBERTO SHOULD BE CAPTAIN WHAT WERE YOU THINKING ARSENE? DD:" But yet again, Arsene has pulled a rabbit out of his hat. Go Arsene! :D Long live le boss!

The player who stood out for me today [[with the exception of le capitaine, of course]] was Bendtner. He had a part to play in both goals, and was a threat in the short period of time he came on. I think I'll be interesting to see how he works with Ade, Eduardo and Robin. Actually, it'll be interesting to see how an Robin-Ade-Bendtner strike force will work out. Like in a friendly or something.

So, all in all, 3 points clear at the top of the table with a game in hand. I'm happy. :)



Okay I need to return Heroes on Tuesday but I haven't finished it a second time because I was gone for camp for three days and I'm leaving on Tuesday and I can't watch it. DDDD: I'm going to have to go mad watching it today and tomorrow then. Let's see. I have the special pilot to watch, half of episode 5, all of episodes 6, 7, 10 to 23. Should be doable... right?

If you gave me a choice between Louboutins and these, I'd go for these. That is how much I want these. I know they're probably going to be out of fashion next season and that Louboutins are timeless, but these are possibly the most amazing pair of shoes that I've laid my eyes on. The embossed-croc, the chunky wooden heel, the height -- it's perfect! The shape is feminine, but the heel's all "don't fuck with me", and the height is orgasmic. In short, I need this shoe. I wear a 39, but I'll squeeze into a 38.5, and I'll take 40 as well.

Oh yeah, I also saw Roberto Cavalli sunglasses when I went shopping at Plaza Sing today. They're so gorgeous. *sighs*

Sad thing about the trip is that I'll have to miss the Sevilla v Arsenal match. *sigh* It looks to be a good one as well. Hopefully I'll have cell phone coverage there so I can check the score.
