Liverpool v Arsenal

1-1.

I know it was against Liverpool at the "fortress" of Anfield, but I'm seriously not pleased. We could've won this match if we had taken our chances correctly. To be fair, Liverpool could have won it too, but all they had were long shots [[bar that one Gerrard chance which Gallas took care of well]] which Alumnia handled quite comfortably.

Also, we shouldn't have let in that stupid Gerrard freekick. The wall is supposed to prevent a goal from being scored by a freekick, not allow it to go through!

Liverpool also looked very out of depth in the first half, but we didn't do anything about it. We should've scored in the first half, then looked for the winner in the second. All Liverpool had were long balls to Torres, which 95% of the time didn't even get to him.

I know Anfield hasn't been the nicest of places to go to for us in the league for the past few years, and this is a major improvement from the 4-1 defeat last season, but I'm still not fully satisfied. We're only top because of goal difference, but we do have a game in hand. So yeah.

And my sister really is a good luck charm. She was sleeping during the game [[she had school the next day]], but she suddenly woke up during Cesc's goal because she had a "feeling". WTF. She should've watched the whole thing. ):


Okay I have a hypothetical question for you guys. So you're bleeding to death, and there's no bandage around to stop the bleeding. The only thing you have is a limited edition Hermes scarf. The ambulance is on its way, but if it takes too long then you're going to die. Are you going to use the Hermes scarf as a bandage [[oh the horror!]], or keep it safe and clean and pray like hell that the ambulance comes on time?


I was watching Miami Ink a few days ago, and there was this guy who wanted a tattoo of this old dead guy with a giant beard on his back. He wanted people to go, "Behold, a giant beard!" Hahahaha amusing-ness. :)

There was also this male model guy called Zac who got this seraphim angel [[??]] thing on his back because he just refound his faith in God. The reason he lost it in the first place was because he lost out on some stupid contract. WTF haha.

Speaking of models, me and my sister were looking at Dior's couture shows, and WTF at Dior's Fall 07 collection.

Pre-Arsenal v Liverpool

I think I'm a masochist.

You know why? I'm crazy nervous about the Liverpool game, and I still go onto Arsenal-mania and read the Liverpool v Arsenal thread. Which is fine, if everyone was confident that we're good enough to pull off a win, but noooo, they're all convinced that we're going to have a hard time and they'll be happy with a draw.

I have this weird churning feeling in my stomach right now that doesn't feel quite right. Reading that stupid thread isn't helping. But I can't tear myself away from it! Gah. ):

At the very least if we lose/draw I won't be too surprised. It's not going to make it any easier, but no surprise with bad things >>> surprises about bad things. Still, I would hate for us to lose this match that, because if we do ManUtd stay top of the table. And of course, I would hate for us to lose our unbeaten run.


Anyways. I was walking past the D&T workshop, and I overheard this hockey girl saying something to Mr Ng about football. Unless my memory fails me horribly, this is the exact quote: "I'd rather Arsenal win [[against ManUtd]] because they have Fabregas and van Persie."

At first I thought, "Poor girl. I wish I could delude myself into thinking that Robin's back too", but then I thought about the sentence more, and I realise she's not talking about their footballing ability, is she? How I'd intrepet it would be, "I want Arsenal to win because Robin and Cesc are hot."

Strangely, I'm okay with her statement. So you like a guy because you think that he's cute, and he just happens to be a footballer, and because of your crush on him, you want his team to win. Fair enough, isn't it? It's like me saying, "Oh I hope Fort Minor wins "Best Artist" at [[add award show's name here]], just because I think Mike is cute."

I know some people will be like, "WHAT? It's wrong just to support a football club just because you think a player is cute!" But notice it's just "win the game" in this case, and not "OH EM GEE, ARSENAL IS MY FAVOURITE CLUB BECAUSE CESC IS SO AUSEMLY K8!!!!!" Yeah, that one I have a problem with. You don't love the club, you love the player. You have to make distinctions. For me, I like Metze, but I don't support Real just because he went there. I like Christoph Metzelder the footballer, not Real Madrid the football club.

However, that could be attributed to a lack of intelligence, and in that case, we do have to forgive these fangirls, don't we?

Also, don't we, the "real" football fans, wish for some teams to win our rival teams? We become honorary members for a day and go, "WHEE I HOPE NEWCASTLE TRASHES SP*RS!"? :)

And Cesc and Robin aren't that good looking anyways.

I've just realised that I made a whole post with nothing about Arsenal a few posts back. I'm shocked. But that's because I was rushing for time and I really really wanted to post a picspam.

I wanted the male version of this polo shirt because it looks really nice until I realised that they have a female version. I will love you forever and ever if you can help me locate a store that has this shirt or help me get it. *cough*M*cough*

Went out with Debbie and Jing today to Orchard. We saw loads of St. Nicks people. Lemme do a little recount. A group of girls wearing pleated mini-skirts, which make your butt look really fat, by the way, on the platform at AMK station. Christal and Shi Jie at the Orchard MRT station. Jing's and Debbie's juniors at Cinelesiure. Two groups of St. Nicks girls after The Seeker. Ex P6 classmates at Kinokuniya.

Doesn't it sound fun?

Me and Debbie went to Isetan to go buy Coco Mademoiselle, but it was $107 for the EDT. I was only expecting to pay $80, and I didn't think that I would wear the EDT [[eau du parfum smelt much better, srsly]], so we didn't get it. ):

After that we went to Kino and looked around the art section. Nothing interesting there. I decided to go to Tangs, which is across the road from Ngee Ann City, to find another fragrance. We jaywalked there, haha. We could've been knocked down, but we weren't, so there you go.

But once we got there I thought it would be a better idea to get nail polish, so we went to Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent and all the others to find some. Before deciding on rogue noir, I had my eye on this gorgeous deep purple from YSL. I chose it over rogue noir [[I know, I know. Stupid stupid stupid.]], but when I went back there, they didn't have it! ): But we tried both Baby Doll and Young Sexy Lovely again, and I think I just might like Young Sexy Lovely more. The SA sprayed some onto my arm, and I still can smell it now. Mhm. It's quite fruity when you first put it on, but then it becomes this more powdery and sensual smell. Very nice. :)

I did get Rogue Noir in the end, so yay. :D

Oh yeah. I also saw Jeremy's ad for this cologne, EXCEPT THAT HE WAS CUT OUT OF THE AD. ): It's like he's on the left, and they have the other two guys BUT THEY DON'T HAVE JEREMY. *le pout*

Then we met up with Jing at Cinelesiure and went to watch The Seeker. The Seeker = Teh Corny. We basically guessed exactly what would happen an hour before it did. But other than that, I thought it was quite decent. Maybe that's because I haven't read the book.

After that we went to Takashimaya, and I got this deep purple nail polish from Yves Saint Laurent. It's gorgeous! Now I'm going to have a big problem trying to decide which shade to wear: fireball, rogue noir, or the gorgeous YSL purple.

And I saw this guy with my bag in another colour. ): I need more girly bags! But why is this bag so awesome? It's black, which means that it goes with everything, and it's canvas, so I don't have to worry about scratching it or dirtying it [[because I can just wash it! Awesome, huh?]]. *sighs* Plus it's a sling bag, so I don't have to carry it in the crook of my arm or whatever [[which is really tiresome when you're molesting half the things you see]]. I think it's just for convenience's sake, really; I think it's kind of ugly.

Anyways, while walking around, this weird woman came up to me to ask me to help her do something for her company, but before anything really progressed, she went, "How old are you?", so I told her, then she went, "Oh, you have to be 18." Okay, WTF. I DO NOT LOOK 18 OKAY. ):

Debbie laughed at me, but she can pass off for 10, so yeah. Jing also came up with this, "Okay let's deduct years from your age when you do something stupid" game for Debbie, and Debbie ended up being -15. Hahaha.

Robin also rocks, although he's not really in my good books right now for getting injured [[and some people on his thread at AM said it was his own fault? WTF?]]. Here's an interview with him.

I read and hear what they say about me but I find it shows contempt for my team-mates as they're all at a very high level.

I function at my best when I feel pleasure around me and here at Arsenal I've found both that and everything else that I desire. ♥

But even though I don't like that he's injuried, he's still my favourite, because aside from being capable to score the most magnificent goals, and 3 winners in 3 consecutive games for us, he says the best things ever. Come back soon Robin! We miss you.


Last day of school tomorrow! I can't wait! :) And no, it's not just because of the holidays.
