I am suddenly $70 richer because my grandma just gave me back some money I apparently saved when I was in primary school (which completely slipped my mind, to be honest). Now I only need to save $1000 more to buy:

- Star Trek (movie definitely, series doubtful)

Obviously all this ~enjoyment~ will have to come after O Levels. I hate how everything fun is now "after O Levels". But to be fair there is no way that I'll be able to save $1000 by November, since I won't even get $1000 in allowance by November. So I guess I can go work or something to earn extra money to buy stuff. Either that or I will force Bernice to buy half of the DVDs, heh heh.

Just realised that the MTV Movie Awards took place today when I got to school. Can't find it on TV though. ): MTV Singapore: please play the awards so that I can admire Chris Fine and ZQ. What I can't understand is why they didn't present an award together. Star Trek PR people, what are you doing? I don't even know who he presented with. Anna Faris, whut?


As far as I know, they're not even professionally related. And ZQ > random blond "actress". A hundred billion times. At least ZQ wasn't wearing some ugly ass garbage bag trying to pass off as a dress.

However, it is widely know that the MTV awards are, on the whole, a load of fuckery. Case in point: Zac Efron in HSM3 beat out CHRISTIAN BALE IN TDK for Best Male Performance. Does not compute. ):

Looking on the bright side though, apparently Audrina Patridge said that she was single (according to someone on ontd_startrek, which is the most awesome LJ community, by the way)! THERE IS A HIGHER POWER.

I know this is being sucked into the black hole that is Perez Hilton or whatever but him trying to force celebrities out of the closet is incredibly infuriating.


He makes me lose faith in humanity. What does it matter either way? To be honest I'm more concerned that Chris Pine was linked to Audrina Patridge. But anyway, ZQ is fab. End of story.

STAR TREK WAS EVEN MORE AWESOME THE SECOND TIME AROUND. Now I wanna watch it a third time. Then I wanna buy the DVD when it comes out. I love the ridiculously good-looking cast (hey Chris Pine/Karl Urban/Eric Bana/ZQ), I love Bones (I may throw up on you~), I love baby!Spock (omg cutest kid ever?), I love Chekov and his Russian accent and just aslkjasflkjadflj AWESOME.

I also bought 2 Jason Mraz CDs today and a few new pens from Kinokuniya (some of them are ~sparkly~), so basically I have some motivation to get started on the mountainous pile of homework we have tomorrow.

Furthermore, I ate Hooters for the first time in my life today. Meh, it wasn't that good. :C Except for the mashed potatoes, which were by far the most outstanding thing we ordered. After that I got Turkish ice cream. Clarke Quay really is a pretty cool place to eat and walk around.

Apparently my dog nearly died today. (He's nearly 10.) He was pooping and peeing in his cage and refused to move for two hours. But he's okay now, which is weird. I've had him since I was 7-ish, which makes me feel really old. Just the other day I walked by a bunch of rope-jumping primary school girls... who turned out to be Sec 1. This is bad, how can I feel old at 15-going-on-16?

At least I'm nearly done with secondary school and I'll be somewhere where I'll be the baby again. It's going to be weird leaving St Nicks because 10 years is more than half my life. I can't believe I'm done with CCA already. Did three and a half years really go by so fast? It's also really weird that as of tomorrow, I only have two terms left to go in St Nicks. Albeit, the two hardest terms in my entire SN life, but still.

But Yiling, Crystal and I are going to have a mini celebration on Friday consisting of McDonalds for breakfast, Billy Bombers for lunch, Star Trek, Borders and MAC makeup. I'm probably the most excited for Star Trek (the second time around). I've been watching Chris Pine/Zachary Quinto videos. (I love how they always match) I'm almost ashamed to admit that I think ZQ is attractive... when he's sitting next to Chris Pine. What happened to the times when I thought Sylar was a Cesc Fabregas lookalike with thicker eyebrows and a larger nose?

School was a mess today. (I mean, apart from me screwing up quite a few tests. I think I'm losing my ~*~touch~*~. The subjects I usually don't screw up I think I'm going to do badly for now ): Life is awesome.) We had two Chem SPAs because we were given the wrong question to do for the first one.
