Benita's biography

Benita's biography
Once upon a time, there was this little girl called Benita. She had a head of black hair and dark brown eyes. Shortly after her birth, it became evident that she was very talented at sports. She started running around with her short baby legs when she was only an hour old. Her parents exclaimed happily, "Oh! We have an athlete in the family!" They were, as you can probably tell, very delighted.

Benita was home schooled because her parents wanted her to be kept away from junk food in school, so as not to pollute her body with "that garbage". They wanted her to be the best athlete the world had ever seen, or will ever see. They spent their time devising trainings for her, so that she would be able to fufill her full potential. However, Benita had other plans.

Because her parents were so obsessed with planning the perfect training schedule for her, she was left unattended for periods of time. She picked up books about Science and Math and English and started reading them. Keep in mind that Benita was never taught how to read, but being such an intellegent child, she figured out how to read all by herself.

Once the perfect plan was in place, Benita started training strenuously. This left her with less time to do her reading, but she snuck the books into her room and read them by moonlight. As she grew older, she realised that education was something she needed to survive in the world next time. Yes, she might be a great atlete, but the body inevitably degenerates as we grow older.

So, at the age of 12, she told her parents that she wanted to go study in a secondary school. They were, to put it lightly, shocked. "WHAT? Are you crazy? We have spent so much time on you, and you wanna throw it away ... for.... for... for... EDUCATION????" her father asked in a bewildered voice. Benita was adamant though, and at age 13, she made it CHIJ St. Nicholas Girls' School, with the promise that she would take track and field as her CCA.

She was smart and thus was placed in good classes. She was a very quick learner and was promoted to one of the two best classes in the level the next year. Here is what her classmates have to say about her:

Belinda: "She is a smart kid, a bit crazy sometimes, but a smart kid nonetheless. She's also really f**king good in sports, which is kind of unfair to untalented people like me. Oh yeah, did I mention, she's a ManUtd fan. Blehh."
Cleo: "She's one of my best fwends!!!!!!! *screams for mudpie*"
XueJun: "Haha, like Belinda mentioned, she's mad, but smarteth. She hates Chelsea and Jose Mourinho though.... Grrr."

Yes, as you probably can tell, she picked up on football in her first year in St. Nicks, and chose to follow the league winners of the 06/07 season. She tried her hand [[or rather, feet]] at football, but wasn't exactly the next Rooney, so she decided to concentrate on her one true love -- running.

She has won many awards and accolades for her excellent results in both sports and academics, while not failing to be humourous and well-liked by her peers. Her fascinating life story is still being written, and will be updated as soon as something worthwhile to update about happens. :D

Haha okay I'll admit it was as inventive as Cleo's, but that's because I know more about her. But I wrote it, so be grateful!!!!!1111

Tool's Aenima is a fucking fantastic album. Now fucking isn't used her as an expression of violent rage at its horribleness, but rather as an expression of my love for it.

First we have the amazing "Hooker with a Penis". I quote from the song: "I sold my soul long before you ever heard my name; I sold my soul to make a record, and you bought one".

Second, we have the just as amazing Die Eier Von Satan. The beat sounds really military-ish and all, and you have this guy almost chanting something in German. You might think it's "OMG NAZI!!!!!!!", but if you take a second to check it out on gooogle, it's actually a recipe for cookies.

Third, the best song on the album for me -- Forty Six and 2. It's something about growing and changing that's deeply rooted in the Jungian theory, and because I don't study philosophy and thus will probably screw up trying to explain it and look like an idiot, I won't even attempt it. :) But it's really deep. Especially compared to stuff like "Potential Breakup Song" by Aly&AJ.

Ooh look, I managed to do a post not mentioning anything about Arsenal! Oops, I just did. D:
1:1, Blackburn v Arsenal. Gah. ): We should've won. I'm a Lehmann fan and all, but maybe it's time to let Fabianski or Alumnia have a go. 2 mistakes in 2 league games is just 2 mistakes too many. I though Sagna did pretty well though, and Eduardo could be called either brave or selfish for taking some shots from range.

And a quote from Arseblog: "As for Robbie Savage (labelled a histrionic disgrace by The Times), if he could translate 1% of his cuntiness into footballing ability he’d be better than Maradona." Respect. :)

Today in Home Ec, Xue Jun and I were moaning about Germany having a seriously depleted squad for the friendly against England. Jansen, Klose, Ballack, Borowski, Schweinsteiger, Podolski, Schlaudrauff are all out. I think there are more that I can't remember. And England say that they have an injury hit squad. They have so many players! >:E Germany better win! And I expect Metze to score 101084327190874190 goals. :)

Oh yeah, I'm supposed to blog about Cleo who broke up with me during Home Ec. D: Hmm, since we're doing biographies in English, let me do a fictional biography for Cleo. :)

Cleo's biography
Cleo was born in the year 1993. She was a bright baby whose first words were "I want cereal!" She was a fast learner, and mastered the alphabet in 2 weeks. She started walking by the age of 6 months, and soon showed potential for being a dancer.

In kindergarten, she was the top of her class academically and literally. She was the best at basketball and netball because of her height. Even at a very young age, her teachers saw potential in her as a model, and made a prophecy that she would someday be invovled in a photoshoot of sorts. She was too concerned with getting her favourite cereal for breakfast to consider that seriously though.

In primary school, she was no longer the tallest in her class, which depressed her a bit. She liked being the tallest, because it made it easier to look at the blackboard [[and in doing that, blocking the view of the short people behind her]]. So she decided to do something about it. And that something turned out to be ballet.

Ballet class was a success for Cleo, and soon she returned to the dizzying heights she dreamed of for so long. By the time she took her PSLE, she was a tall 1.6m. [[Most kids are around 1.5m at PSLE]] She did extremely well for her PSLE, making it into the top 10% of the cohort. And thus she arrived at CHIJ St. Nicholas Girls' School.

She was well liked and did well in her Secondary 1 year, and made it into Secondary 2 Loyalty the next year. She was in the Media Club in Secondary 1, but found it tediously boring, so she switched to Dance in Secondary 2. She was a talented dancer who wowed her teachers and compatriots with her agility. Once, she demonstrated how to do a bridge from a standing position in gym class. Witnesses say that it was a fascinating display of flexibility.

She was also a lively and enthusiastic learner, and was made monitor and later student councillor. She sat next to a girl named Belinda in Chinese Lit, and together, they had many conversations about pros and cons of a life as a badger. Okay, fine, they mostly talked about the life they would, no sorry, will, have as tai tais. They had lots of fun together during Chinese Lit, but sadly, Cleo broke up with Belinda in Home Ec [[not that Belinda had any idea that they were ever together, but that's a whole 'nother story]].

Also worth mentioning is the fact that Cleo was chosen as a model for the school's issue of Connexio '07. It was an honour to be selected as the students were hand picked by the level teachers. The students had to be tall and beautiful, and only very few were selected. In agreeing to participate in the little photoshoot, Cleo fufilled her Kindgergarten teachers' prophecy.
Cleo's fascinating life story is still being written, and will be updated as soon as something interesting comes up.

[[You happy now Cleo? Yes you better be. I spent lots of time writing this!]]
