Arsenal v Blackburn
2:0 PHIL AND ADEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
I know this is like, super late, but asl;kasdf, no motivation to post. No comments/tags = no posts. Simple. And it's not like nobody reads my blog. That's what the counter is for, for fuck's sake.
But anyways. I'm SUPER pysched about our win over Blackburn, 5 points ahead of ManUtd, HAH! But we're playing them today, and we have like, 2 fit players. ): No Clichy, no Sagna and no Ade. D: Even so, I won't accept a draw. Either we lose, or we win. Simple. One more game means 3 fewer days of rest. I don't think we can do the double, or the treble this year. And I want the league so bad. I KNOW we can do it.
I know everyone's going on about how this game will have a huge psychological impact on who wins the title, but I don't think so. If we win, good, we'll have shown those cunts that no one fucks around with us, but if we lose, I don't think our boys will be so upset and discouraged that we'll go on a downward spiral. We've shown that we have more mental toughness than that.
I feel really stressed now. A Midsummer's Night Dream and Bio on Friday, and we have A.Math and Social Studies next week. x.x I know next year's going to be worse, but aslkjal;df. :/ I think it's mostly because I have something like 0% confidence in myself now. Your confidence does suffer when you get like 5 bad papers in a row. Maybe if I had done well in some of them, I'd be thinking, "I can do this!", but it's very "Fuck, test, I'm going to do badly" now.
I've tried rationalising with myself. The A.Math coursework was incomprehensible, I've always been bad at light, and I cannot expect more than a pass in Higher Chinese, but D: I'm just... I don' t know. If I maintain my record of never scoring below a 75% average this term, it'll be a miracle.
Anyways, Make Me A Supermodel is pretty awesome. Except for the fact that they conspire to vote people off the show. First Aryn, then Katy, and now Ronnie's under fire. ): No Ronnie don't go! ): Ronnie's one of my favourites [[along with Ben and Shannon]] on the show, and it would suck with any Ben/Ronnie cuteness. ):
With Aryn they had all the other girls talk crap about how she and Ben were getting closer and how it would be sho ausum~ if they got together [[Um, how did that even come up? Ben's married, and Aryn has a boyfriend! Besides, Ronnie's the one who's like "I really love Ben" and who practically molested him in Episode 3.]], and then they made her look really ugly in the photoshoot. The judges keep telling Ronnie that he's too all-american and they made him look really ugly on the runway [[Ben was really ugly too, but he had immunity from winning last week]]. ): I bet you soon enough they'll make it seem as if Ronnie's trying to break Ben's marriage up. ):

Horoscopes and all that jazz
So my parents were flipping through the Zodiac horoscope for this year, right? They come across mine and it says something like, "You will be tempted to start a romance this year, and it might affect your studies."
Um. Whut?
Instead of getting anxious and telling me that a boyfriend is bad~*~ at this age and that I shouldn't think of getting a boyfriend until I'm old enough to move out, they just laugh at my :O face like it's the funniest thing they've seen in some time. Thanks, I love you guys too. *sarcastic*
It's probably because they think that I only like ang moh guys so there's practically no chance of me getting a boyfriend this year. The sad thing is that they're right. It's not like I'm planning to get married or something, so looks > personality right now. My dad says that I can't marry a pretty boy, someone tattooed and/or pierced, or a black guy. In episode 2, all the models were sitting around eating and they were asking some questions, like "Who do you think is the best looking in this house?" Ronnie said Ben [[and Ben said Ronnie, aww]]. It was super cute and everyone was laughing and making fun of them. In the separate interview thingie [[I have no idea what it's called, someone enlighten me, kthnz]], Ben says, "I guess it's a good thing that a gay guy thinks you're cute... it's a compliment, right?" Hahaha best quote ever. Not really in the sense that he said something realli witty~, but the way he said it was hilarious.
Oh yeah, and Ben's walk is not that bad. I don't know why the judges keep saying his walk is bad. I've seen guys walk just as badly as him in Valentino. Maybe it's just my untrained eye... although it is probably my biased one. :3 But I will say that I think Lars walks like he's a duck, or has something stuck up his ass. Doesn't make him any less good looking though.

CNY's been okay so far. I mean, it's not that everyone was horrible and stuff, but it's a bit of a drag to wear dresses and skirts when it's the time of your month, you know? And I've been a bit down during my period as well, so that probably contributed to the meh-ness at CNY. ): Stupid hormones.
Anyways, I watched Fight Club today! It was awesome. :D It was kind of hard for me to picture the book translated into a film [[you'll understand when you read the book]], but I thought it was done reallly well. The casting was great as well -- Edward Norton and Brad Pitt both did super jobs as the narrator and as Tyler respectively.
I'm going to watch 27 Dresses tomorrow, whee. Hope it'll be good and not a total waste of money.
And because we all need a good dose of funny each day.
In Arsene we trust [[just not to make decisions about hair, although he seems to have learnt from his mistakes in the past]].
He's 20/80 about the EPL travelling around the world thing, and I think I am also. It's a stupid idea based on the fact that it's nothing more than a stupid scheme dreamed up by fat businessmen who don't care that a random draw for the 39th game of the season is just totally unfair. What if it's the deciding game in our title bid and we get Liverpool [[who will most probably be out of contention for the trophy but nevertheless, still a worthy opponent]] and ManUtd get Derby?
If they wanna do it they have to let one of the traditional 38 games be the match played around the world, not some stupid 39th match [[and like my sister said, good things come in pairs]]. And it has to be the very last game of the season that the club will play. It would be terribly stupid if the players got jet lagged and shit and fail to play their best in the CL final.
But it's not in my hands to decide, and I'm just a pawn in their big "let's squeeze money from everyone we can!" scheme, so my opinion doesn't really matter very much. Ah well.

Chinese New Year
YAY MY FAVOURITE HOLIDAY! Christmas and my birthday come close though. ;)
Went to Orchard yesterday to get my sister her Zara flats. They're pretty! :) But everyone there was smelly and old and stupid, so I was rushing to get in and out as quickly as possible and thus I didn't see Lars's ad. ):
I also bought some books! I bought 3 [[down from a list of 10, great achievement for me!]]! Fight Club, Interview With the Vampire and Perfume. :DD So much awesome. I will finish them before the CNY holidays are over. I shall not mention that I have Marlowe's Doctor Faustus and Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray's left to read. :X Oh wait, I just did. Hahahah I'm a genius. :D
I have a good reason for not reading them though! I can hardly understand Marlowe [[as in, I can, but I have to take a lot of time to re-read each sentence, because the way his sentence are structured doesn't really make much sense to me]], and I borrowed the Oscar Wilde, and I want to buy my own copy to read.
Other than The Picture of Dorian Gray, I have loads more books to buy!

Man City v Arsenal
3-1, AND WE'RE BACK AT THE TOP OF THE LEAGUE!
Ade scored 2 [[DUH! It's going to be weird when you say, "Ade didn't score." Let it never end, kthnx]], and Eduardo with another! Ade is amazing now. The goals just come so easily! And I love his new song! ADEBAYORRRRRR, GIVE HIM THE BALL AND HE'LL SCORE!!!!!! I thought it sounded kind of uncheery at first, but the lyrics won me over. :D
It should have been a very comfortable win [[the only explanation for Man City's poor performace is that they forgot to wake up in time for the game]], but Clichy made one mistake that allowed them to score. Try as we might, I don't think we can hate Clichy for this. I'll gladly take one mistake every 6 months and him being able to out run/keep up with all wingers, thanks.
Phil is really stepping up for me. He was solid today, and I no longer get jitters when I see him touch the ball. Actually I'm really comfortable with him and Gallas at the back. I don't remember them doing anything wrong [[could be because Man City didn't really do anything to trouble them, but I'll put it down to their genius]]. What a change from the Senderos that everyone was sure would score own goals and give away stupid ones! :D
Cesc and Hleb weren't at their best, but they did well enough, so that's good. Flams needs to stop shooting defenders and start aiming for the goal, but did his job really well.

Anyways! I went shopping with my sister yesterday. I finally bought my DC shirt [[YAY! So much pretty. :D]], 2 Esprit shirts [[$34.90 for two! Awesome, y/n? And the shirts are pretty!]], and Zara jeans. Zara jeans are awesome. They're relatively cheap and so nice and soft! :D And they're not like Levis who cut small! :D
My sister, while trying her Zara jeans [[only $59.90! Awesome!]], was like "OMG I MUST FIT INTO A 0" and squeezed into one... but couldn't button it up. Hahahahahahahaha. She ended up getting a 4. And she's 1.55m. That tells you how scarily skinny models are, since they have to be 1.75m and size 4. D:
Plus I finally got my hair cut. :D I'm really happy with it! It's cute! :D It's a bit short though, but it'll grow out, y? I'm sure someone will ask me to pin my fringe up though, haha.
Oh yeah, and the crowd there is the rich tai tai kind. The moment we walked in we saw this woman with a 2.55 and Galliano jeans. D: And the woman who was sitting next to me had a Chanel bag too. *sigh* She was a TOTAL asshole though and kept going "Not nice" and "I don't like this" to everything. Just because you carry Chanel doesn't make you better than everyone else, okay?
She was reading P.S. I Love You while doing her hair, which is a nice book, but dude, you're around 25, you should be reading deeper stuff. I'm 14-going-on-15 and I read Oscar Wilde and Dave Eggers. Cecila Aachen? *laughs* Doesn't compare. Guess you can't have it all though. ;)
Ade scored 2 [[DUH! It's going to be weird when you say, "Ade didn't score." Let it never end, kthnx]], and Eduardo with another! Ade is amazing now. The goals just come so easily! And I love his new song! ADEBAYORRRRRR, GIVE HIM THE BALL AND HE'LL SCORE!!!!!! I thought it sounded kind of uncheery at first, but the lyrics won me over. :D
It should have been a very comfortable win [[the only explanation for Man City's poor performace is that they forgot to wake up in time for the game]], but Clichy made one mistake that allowed them to score. Try as we might, I don't think we can hate Clichy for this. I'll gladly take one mistake every 6 months and him being able to out run/keep up with all wingers, thanks.
Phil is really stepping up for me. He was solid today, and I no longer get jitters when I see him touch the ball. Actually I'm really comfortable with him and Gallas at the back. I don't remember them doing anything wrong [[could be because Man City didn't really do anything to trouble them, but I'll put it down to their genius]]. What a change from the Senderos that everyone was sure would score own goals and give away stupid ones! :D
Cesc and Hleb weren't at their best, but they did well enough, so that's good. Flams needs to stop shooting defenders and start aiming for the goal, but did his job really well.

Anyways! I went shopping with my sister yesterday. I finally bought my DC shirt [[YAY! So much pretty. :D]], 2 Esprit shirts [[$34.90 for two! Awesome, y/n? And the shirts are pretty!]], and Zara jeans. Zara jeans are awesome. They're relatively cheap and so nice and soft! :D And they're not like Levis who cut small! :D
My sister, while trying her Zara jeans [[only $59.90! Awesome!]], was like "OMG I MUST FIT INTO A 0" and squeezed into one... but couldn't button it up. Hahahahahahahaha. She ended up getting a 4. And she's 1.55m. That tells you how scarily skinny models are, since they have to be 1.75m and size 4. D:
Plus I finally got my hair cut. :D I'm really happy with it! It's cute! :D It's a bit short though, but it'll grow out, y? I'm sure someone will ask me to pin my fringe up though, haha.
Oh yeah, and the crowd there is the rich tai tai kind. The moment we walked in we saw this woman with a 2.55 and Galliano jeans. D: And the woman who was sitting next to me had a Chanel bag too. *sigh* She was a TOTAL asshole though and kept going "Not nice" and "I don't like this" to everything. Just because you carry Chanel doesn't make you better than everyone else, okay?
She was reading P.S. I Love You while doing her hair, which is a nice book, but dude, you're around 25, you should be reading deeper stuff. I'm 14-going-on-15 and I read Oscar Wilde and Dave Eggers. Cecila Aachen? *laughs* Doesn't compare. Guess you can't have it all though. ;)
